Aching to speak your heart out and drop that cheesy line? Giving the no-holds-barred cheesiness of Pinoys the space to shine is the country’s biggest pizza chain, Greenwich. The latest promo from the company that brought you the Xtreme Cheese pizzas, Greenwich’s Cheesy Hour puts the spotlight on the cool cheesiness that Pinoys proudly get away with.

In Greenwich’s newest contest, sentimental dialogue and mushy one-liners can pave the way for a breathtaking sky tour, and all the possibilities for romance that great views, close settings, and well-meaning friends can present. Greenwich Pizza calls on all aspiring Romeos (and Juliets) to wear their hearts on their sleeves – or more, appropriately, their Facebook walls – and join Greenwich Cheesy Hour for a daily dose of cheesy love and Xtreme Cheese pizza.

To join, post the most creative, unique, and funny declaration of love on your Facebook wall, tag your loved one and at least two friends to witness your cheesy confession during designated Cheesy Hours.

Make sure to friend the Greenwich Pizza Barkada and tag it on your post to validate your entry.

Cheesy Hours are announced randomly – there are three Cheesy Hours in a day, and entries will only be accepted at these times. Daily winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, impact, and number of Likes. No need to lay it on thick, participants are only allowed Cheesy Hour post per day. Each Cheesy Hour winner will receive a Greenwich Xtreme Cheese family pizza of their choice –Bacon Burger Melt Overload, Philly Cheese Steak Overload, or 7-Cheese – to be delivered right at their doorstep. Two winners from the daily rounds will be selected as finalists to vie for the grand prize, a sky tour ride over majestic Mt. Pinatubo to witness the dawn of a shared future, or the romantic possibilities of the night. To help document all cheesy moments for future Facebook consumption, the prize also includes two tour slots for the couple’s friends.

A gallery of all finalists will be created on the Greenwich Pizza Barkada Facebook page on the last week of the Cheesy Hour promo, to help people choose and vote for their favorite lines. The entry with the most number of ‘likes’ wins the grand prize. The promo will end on May 27, 2011.
